Patrol Deputy
Due to expanding staffing needs, the McLean County Sheriff’s Office is re-advertising the opportunity to join our dedicated law enforcement team as a Patrol Deputy Sheriff. If you are committed to public service, professional integrity, and community safety, we welcome your application.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas to maintain public safety and enforce laws and regulations.
- Respond to emergency calls, accidents, disturbances, and criminal incidents.
- Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and prepare detailed reports.
- Make arrests and transport suspects or inmates as required.
- Engage in community policing and build positive relationships with residents.

Applications will be accepted until positions are filled. Preference will be given to P.O.S.T certified applicants with prior experience or to those who are eligible to become P.O.S.T. certified. Starting base salary range is $48,758.59 - $57,752.76 per year (commensurate with experience).
