The Weed Control Board consists of five members. They are Mike Thyberg of Washburn; Paul Jacobson of Max; Garrett B Krueger of Garrison; Dalen Schaefer of Turtle Lake; and Tyge Sheldon of Washburn.  The members are appointed to staggered four-year terms. The board is in charge of Weed Control operations including the expenditure of funds to control noxius weeds in the county along with enforcement of state regulations.
